Growing with Grace is a community-owned Cooperative and Social Enterprise and as such
we intend to build on our past successes and make our nursery a real resource for local people.
Already the glasshouses have provided an excellent base for other successful projects.
These have included small-scale biodiesel production, a community composting scheme, an organic shop,
training courses, community events and opportunities to experiment with different growing methods.
This group is set up to help the community of people buying from GWG
keep in touch with the farm and vice versa, and to help GWG
get real input from the community into what it is doing.
Membership is £10 per year, which is used by the group to help put on
events and towards the costs of the newsletters etc.
The benefits of membership are:
-
Bi-monthly newsletters to keep you in touch with what is going on at
the farm, and to give you recipes for the vegetables we will be
supplying you with in that period.
-
Invitations to celebration and educational events at Growing With Grace.
-
A right to vote at the AGM of the supporters group, and to get involved with putting
on events, writing the newsletter etc.
-
Invitations to feedback on the produce GWG is supplying you and have your say on
how you want things to be!
-
An invitation to volunteer on the farm both on community workdays, and at other
times of your choice, to get experience of growing veg on a large scale.

As a community co-operative, we value voluntary input from the community
highly. We welcome volunteers into all aspects of our community business.
We are always looking for an extra pair of hands in the glasshouses,
as a grower's work is never done!
