Community Outreach
Growing with Grace proudly supports the local community; be it through using local businesses as suppliers, working alongside like-minded conservation projects (such as the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust), supporting charities, food banks and shelters with food donations as well as hosting schools, disadvantaged groups and those interested in growing and conservation for visits. It's at the heart of everything we do.
Throughout the year in 2025, we have provided boxes of surplus produce to local food banks and shelters to a value of over £5,000. This includes over 200 kilos of staples like potatoes, carrots and onions as well as 100s of items of own grown produce and many unique fruits and veg not commonly donated to those who need them. We're exceptionally proud to be able to do this, not only to help those in need, but also as part of our mission to reduce food waste to an absolute minimum.

Through our group visit sessions and open days, we engage the local community in working with the land, the importance of a localised food chain and wider conservation issues whilst sparking a joy of the outdoors and growing.
We will always be proud of our links in the local community that go well beyond our farm shop and deliveries. If you would ever like to help us in this, or are part of a like-minded project in the community, don't hesitate to get in touch.
