Helpful Information About Deliveries

If you're an existing customer or are looking to find out about how our delivery scheme works, this page should have all the information you need. For anything not covered here, don't hesitate to get in touch with our office team.

We deliver Tuesday to Friday, with set delivery days based on where you are located inside our boundaries which you can see in the map on this page. Delivery is free for all customers regardless of how far from the farm you are. Though you will get more precise answer on your delivery day when you place your first order, the general boundaries are:

  • Tuesday - South Lakes

  • Wednesday - Lancaster and surrounding areas

  • Thursday - Central Lakes

  • Friday - North Yorkshire

Here are a few more pieces of information that may help you get to grips with our ordering system.

  • If you make any changes to your order on the online shop, don't forget to click the save button (towards the top right of the website). If you leave the website without clicking save, changes may not hold on your order.

  • Orders close at Monday 8AM week of delivery, so you can amend your orders any time until then on your account. If you miss this deadline, please contact us ASAP and we’ll make changes if we are still in time to do so.

  • You can order as frequently or infrequently as you like - be that weekly, fortnightly, sporadically or even just as a one off.

  • Minimum orders are £15.

  • We update expected set box contents, and the available produce and prices by Thursday 5PM the week before delivery. Set box contents can change from what is initially advertised because of supply or quality issues, but the replacements will always be fair swaps.

  • If you get a set box (any of our boxes where we choose the contents) you can add up to three additional items at their cost price. If you add four or more additional items, a packing charge of £2.40 is also added before billing to cover the extra staff labour involved. This would only apply once per order even if you have a large number of extra items added.

  • You can have upto three items on your list of exclusions. Want a fruit box but don't like mangoes? Call or email us to let us know and we'll make sure you never get them when they're in your box. You will always receive a replacement item when an excluded item is in your chosen box.

  • Your first box may have been charged up front. Any subsequent orders will be charged at the end of the delivery week.

  • We re-use our boxes, punnets, ice-packs and a host of other packaging items. Please keep them safe and protected from the elements and our drivers will collect them on your next delivery.

  • We’re a small team of dedicated staff. We always aim to get things right, but may occasionally get things wrong. If that’s ever the case, don’t hesitate to get in touch by emailing us on farm@growingwithgrace.org.uk or calling on 015242 51723 and we’ll set things right.

We offer pre-made boxes (which we call Set Boxes) and custom orders (which we call Choice Boxes). There are nine different Set Boxes to choose from, all of which include some weekly staples as well as a number of items of produce which change week to week. If that works for you, you can sign up over on our online store at the link below. Just choose your box, follow the instructions and you should be good to go. Be sure to leave delivery instructions, mainly how to find your property if you live in a remote location and where to leave your box if you won't be in at time of delivery.
